At present methods of volumetric reinforcement of the ground is widely used in road building. Such methods virtually turn the ground into a new structure with higher mechanical characteristics. One of these methods is the reinforcement of the ground with geocells. 

      One of the best and most perspective structures for volumetric reinforcement of the ground is geocell "PRUDON-494", manufactured by OJSC "494 UNR", which has a sign of correspondence to the Russian Certificate System GOST.

       Geocell "PRUDON-494" is a flexible compact structure made from polymer strips, clamed to each other. In an expanded position "PRUDON-494" forms a spatial cellular construction with given geometric dimensions.
